Training/Instruction: Ground Control

Caroline’s teaching style offers a vast array of opportunities for learning, including: private lessons; group and clinic environments; performances and demonstrations; speaking engagements; apprenticeship programs and camps.

No matter where you are in your horsemanship, each class is designed to encourage and support a level of understanding and communication between you and your horse. You will find yourself experiencing immediate results that will positively enhance the relationship you have with your horse – forever.

Caroline Rider’s "Consider the Horse" Training Programs are designed to teach participants the following:

GROUND MANNER CONTROL & CONFIDENCE
+ How to read and understand our horse’s body language: expressions, attitudes and opinions.
+ Better insight into the way horses think and learn: why making the right thing easy and the wrong thing difficult works (comfort vs discomfort).
+ How to develop focus, projection of energy, feel and timing within us – and why it’s important.
+ How to problem solve and become better prepared to handle our horses when they do the unexpected.
+ How to develop confident, light, responsive and willing partners in our horses – through feel and timing.
+ How to gain control of our horses five main body parts.
+ How to develop “mental engagement” and join up without a round pen.
+ How to develop patience in our horses: tieing and ground tieing; clipping; standing for the farrier and vet.
+ How to properly prepare your horse to lunge –with respect and purpose.
+ How to teach your horse self-carriage through long-line driving.
+ How to trailer load, work through obstacles and so much more!
